BOB is (finally) back! I'm sorry about not blogging but I've been limited on time lately between music stuff and some other crap going on.... I'll probably not be posting every day but I'll try to go at least once if not twice or three times a week. No question today but I do have a bit of a weird challenge for those of you who are up to it.
Can you memorize a song COMPLETELY without playing it on the instrument you play until it's fully memorized? Give yourself about two weeks, pick a song a bit bellow your level and then try to memorize it but you can't play it on your instrument until it is fully memorized. Try to pick a song that is only 1-3 pages long depending on how good you are and see if you can do it.

No Videos!
Bob is back... again. I apologize for not posting any videos other than the one of my music.... I need my sisters camera and it has no battery at the moment. My camera won't record music right so I'm still waiting on it. I hope to get it soon so I'll have a ton of videos then.
On to more relevant stuff. I've come up with a new question-
What are your favorite songs to play? Are they fast? Slow? Lively? Slightly sad? Hard Rock? Pop? Jazz? What? (Mine would have to be anything fast with a lot of notes and scales)

Memory Problems?
Bob is back! I posted my first video of my piano playing.... not my best song nor is it of the best quality but it should work. Check out the music in me page to see it.
I'm not going to ask a question today but I will give this piece of advice for memorization- Most people know you shouldn't just play the entire song and expect it to be memorized.... you can't. I however do play through it all 1-2 times with the book and then work on memorization. I find that eventually it'll get stuck in my head and I get it. It's how I've done my memory for quite a while and it's still working so, if you try it I'd like to know how it works.
